Our story
Meet the founder

I am a proven global equities investor with 24 years of experience in portfolio management, fundamental research and leadership of high-performance teams.

I spent 17 years at Ontario Teachers’, most recently as an MD & Global Co-Head of High Conviction Equities with AUM of C$12B. As part of this role, I was a member of the Total Fund Investment Committee and Private Capital Underwriting Committee. In parallel, I was the lead portfolio manager of the multi-billion long-term public equities portfolio at Teachers’, which I launched in early 2018 and managed until late 2021 with top-quartile results.

Between 2008 and 2018, I successfully managed various long-only and long-short sector portfolios. I started my career at BMO Nesbitt Burns equity research. Born and raised in Ukraine, I currently live in Toronto with my family. In my free time, I enjoy running, reading and traveling.

I was always fascinated with the idea of long-term gains —

from appreciation in values of artwork and real estate to growth
in durable enterprises
over generations

This predisposition shaped my personal investing style, favoring high-quality, resilient businesses that adapt, endure and innovate.

As a professional investor, I ran a variety of equities strategies, but inevitably gravitated towards the long-term compounding, attracted to the exponential power of return over time.
This power is best demonstrated by Warren Buffett: while some investors outperformed Buffett over the shorter-term (5/10/20 years), his compounding track record of ~20% pa for more than 55 years - leading to ~$100B net worth - is unequaled.

Given my passion for and conviction behind the Enduring Compounders, I decided to start a firm dedicated to this strategy.

In 10 years, we want our investment partners to tell us that we have earned their trust. We also wish to get appreciably better at our craft.

If both of those things are true, it is highly likely that
the performance will have been excellent AS Well.
